Terms & Conditions

1. Provider and scope

The service is provided by Taterka Ink — TODO legal identification, at Tattoo Míja Studio, Moskevská 54, Prague 10. These terms apply to consumers booking tattoo services online.

2. Booking and contract

Submitting the form is an appointment request, not automatic confirmation. The contract is concluded when Taterka expressly confirms the appointment by email, or when the client later accepts an individual offer. Entries can be reviewed and corrected before submission. The contract is made in the booking language and the confirmation can be saved.

3. Price and deposit

Online estimates are indicative. Final price depends on the approved design, size, placement, colour, complexity and actual work. A changed brief may change price; a material change will be disclosed before work starts. Deposit amount, due date and refund/credit rules must appear in the confirmation.

4. Changes, cancellation, lateness and no-show

Notify changes or cancellation promptly by email. Lateness may require a smaller design or rescheduling where safe completion is impossible. For a no-show, Taterka may claim actual loss or a proportionate pre-agreed fee; a full automatic forfeiture will not apply where disproportionate or contrary to mandatory law.

5. Safety and refusal

Taterka may refuse or postpone where health, hygiene or safety is at risk; skin is injured; the client is intoxicated or unable to provide informed consent; valid representative consent is missing; or the request conflicts with law or professional standards. Payments will be settled according to the reason and work performed, without limiting statutory rights.

6. Online withdrawal

A consumer generally has 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. If the consumer expressly requests performance during that period, a proportionate amount may be due on withdrawal. The right ends after full performance only where statutory conditions, express consent and prior information are satisfied. The site does not automatically claim that every tattoo appointment falls within the dated leisure-service exception. Withdrawal may be emailed.

7. Complaints

Report a defect without undue delay with a description and suitable image where safe. Receipt and handling will be confirmed within the statutory period. Normal healing, individual skin response and ordinary pigment change do not alone prove a defect. Statutory remedies remain unaffected.

8. Alternative dispute resolution

The competent ADR body is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, Štěpánská 796/44, 110 00 Prague 1, coi.gov.cz/informace-o-adr.

9. Minors and final terms

Age, the legal representative’s identity and separate written consent are verified before tattooing a minor. The representative may be required to attend. These terms do not reduce mandatory consumer protection; invalid provisions do not apply.
